Bringing Finnish confidence to the UK


Overview

When Finnish steel profile manufacturer Aulis Lundell Oy decided to establish a UK presence, they needed a visual identity that could stand out in a mature market while staying true to their heritage. Sprout created a bold, ready-to-roll brand concept — a confident blend of Finnish precision and UK personality — giving Lundell the clarity and confidence to launch with impact.


The Challenge

Aulis Lundell Oy is a respected leader in Finland, but when it came to entering the UK market, they faced a familiar challenge: how to be recognised and remembered in a new environment. They needed an identity that felt strong, modern, and adaptable — something that spoke to construction professionals while signalling the energy of a fresh start.


Without a UK brand presence, every opportunity risked being lost in translation.

 

Our Role

Referred by industry colleagues, Sprout led the creative development of a UK-ready brand concept that could be rolled out internally and externally. The goal was to make Lundell stand out — bold but not brash, distinctive but grounded in trust.


We kept the process streamlined and collaborative, starting with a conversation about expectations, values, and vision. The team wanted bravery, visibility, and energy — a look that would help them compete confidently and communicate easily across both markets.

 

Our Solution

Sprout developed a complete visual identity system including the logo, stationery suite, social media assets, and presentation templates, all designed to be instantly recognisable and easy to activate.


The design combines Scandinavian clarity with bold, modern confidence:


  • Red and black as dominant colours create strength, energy, and warmth.

  • A wave matrix pattern adds a sense of movement and flow — a nod to engineering precision and partnership.

  • The clean logotype features structured lines that represent collaboration between Finland and the UK.


The result is a simple yet striking identity — a toolkit that empowers the UK team to launch boldly and build awareness from day one.

 




The Impact

With a confident brand and cohesive toolkit in place, Lundell UK launched with clarity and credibility. The visual identity captured attention at first glance, helping the company show up as professional, contemporary, and ready to do business.

 

The team can now communicate consistently across every platform — proud of a brand that reflects their ambition and personality.
